So Happy to be in Saginaw

Hello all!!!

I hope every one has had a terrific week!!!!

Monday through Sunday were my last but certainly not "least" days that I served in the South Lansing area. Elder Duffin and I really went to work as we taught our investigator who is currently on date for baptism.. Donovan... the 10 commandments and the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is progressing and obtaining so much knowledge!! He's doing so well and I'm thrilled for the covenants he will make at baptism!!

We also taught our other big guy on date for Baptism Greg. He is a great guy and loved hearing about the word of wisdom!! He's ready to leave alcohol behind and make the sacrifices necessary to be just like our savior Jesus Christ.

I'm so happy the work has been picking up in the Meridian Lansing area and there are about 5 other people who we are teaching and it's so wonderful to answer peoples prayers by serving and sharing the blessings of the restored gospel.

UNFORTUNATELY but FORTUNATELY... I received a call from my mission president sharing that I have received a new assignment to serve in Saginaw Michigan with my dear friend Elder Pfau. He was an assistant to the mission president and he is so knowledgeable on the gospel!!! He is going home in just 6 weeks and I'm so happy to milk all the wisdom he has to offer.

Saginaw is very ghetto and population dense. Its known to be "Flint's brother". Saginaw is just North of Flint and is super population dense. The people here are so humble and in just one night of missionary work, Elder Pfau and I have found 5 new people who are super interested in the message we have to offer.

Last night we met our friends Russell and his girl "Baby Lynn" who were super kind by letting us mow they're unkempt lawn and teach them the Plan of Salvation.

It was amazing and the spirit was so strong!!!!!! They committed to attend church with us this Sunday.

I love being a missionary and the lord has blessed me with the opportunity to work wonders in the lives of others. Losing my self in the work of the lord has helped me cope with some rough dark happenings that happened this week but its fine!! I'm seeing rich blessings everyday!!!

In my studies I'm striving to be able to memorize all the lessons we teach about God and Jesus Christ and working on simplifying them into short 5 minute thoughts. Doing this is SUPER effective in making a quick, simple, clean first impression on people. Also working on being polite by letting people know that I'm not a solicitor or Jehovas witness Haha.

We are members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints and we have such an amazing message to share. Good times. Working so hard and growing so close to God. I'm counting my many blessings every day and I love and miss everyone back at home.

Here are some pictures from this week. One is of me getting stuck in the middle of a horrifying lightning storm.

The other is of a meeting I had with other missionaries. My new companion Elder Pfau is in the middle standing up. Great guy.
